Because DRIFTING ran its Kickstarter earlier this year and raised almost $1 million for its inaugural season, it’s now moving forward with a second season. The third season will be released in 2019, with filming set to begin next year in Kenya. Here’s what we know so far about the third season: Introduction: The story of DRIFTING follows a ragtag team of people who form an expeditionary team called ‘DRIFTING’ as they travel across the world in search of adventure. They dive into strange places like craters, jungles, volcanoes, deserts, and sub-zero cold mountains in search of new experiences. As they do so, they are forced to make difficult choices on a daily basis — like which car they leave behind or take with them — which one they drive and how much fuel they use while doing so. As you race other competitors, gather data on your car's speed and distance traveled so you can move on to the next round without having to endure another drag race. Cars ride on tracks that change the pitch, angle, and volume of sound. Each car has different engines, gears, and brakes so it’s no wonder that cars have unique sounds when you are driving at high speeds with your car moving in one direction only for a red light at the next stop sign or a hill climb at the next restaurant.

We don’t know what will become of the world if all of us who live here suddenly leave. What will become of our world? Are we going to be left in the dust? Doomsday machines are just around the corner, ready to take out the dinosaurs and usher in a new era. We can hope and pray that like-minded individuals are able to coalesce into a single voice and somehow resolve this crisis before it becomes too late.
